The not-so-sunny land of Vancouver, BC.

It's been a while, I know.
Two months actually.
I wouldn't have a clue as to whether anyone reads this anymore, but I've missed blogging, so I decided to return.
You might know that I was moving from Australia to Canada - well I'm here now! It's alright. There is no sun. No warmth. No beaches (well, the local guys say there is a beach, but it's honestly just flat water and dirty, dirty sand. There is this huge island off the coast which basically blocks the ocean tides, so the sand never gets pulled out to sea and renewed = dirty, horrible sand).
Now, now - I'm not complaining! It's just a massive weather change for me and I'm still struggling with it.
On the plus side, my boyfriend now only lives one state away from me :] He's in Portland, Oregon which is JUST below Washington and I'm obviously in Vancouver, BC which is JUST above Washington. So basically I just have to trek through Washington to reach him! (That's close for me, i'm used to living an ocean apart. The 5 and a half hour drive seems like nothing
Most of my affiliates and hostees seem to have disappeared off the face of the planet also. I'll check in with the ones who are still around, but it looks like i'm going to have to wipe most of them since the sites are down.
I'm always open to making new friends :] So I guess i'll be accepting new affies now that I'm back! YAY!
That's all for now, but like I said - if you're interested in being affiliated with Bellamazing.net just let me know
Ignore the last post :/

Yeah, I lied. I know I haven't been around much lately. It's been pretty hectic with getting new jobs, applying for two different visas (Canadian Working Holiday Visa and U.S Visitor Visa), organizing accommodation, looking for jobs OVER in Canada.. Excuses, I know.
The point is that I don't want to wait until I'm in Canada to get active around the website again. Why put it off until later when I'm perfectly capable of doing it right now?
BY THE FREAKING WAY I think I have a job lined up for Canada! WHICH IS AWESOME, since I decided against using a placement program. It costs $1000 to get some company to get you a job before you arrive and I thought it would be nicer to keep the $1000 bucks and just look for a job once i'm over there.. If I get this job though, i'll be saving HEAPS cause I'll dive straight into employment. Wooo.
If anyone lives in Canada, (particularly the Vancouver area) you should come meet me and show me around! I'm not a 40 year old male creeper, don't worry! Plus I met my boyfriend online - he lives in the USA and I flew from Australia just to go see him.. Crazy
But yeah, if anyones pretty chill and laid back, come show me around. I'm arriving on the 6th of May and basically I'm going there alone. I wont know anyone from a bar of soap :/ Sucks!
1. Where's a good place to visit in Canada?
2. Things to do in Canada?
3. How many jackets / jumpers / long pants etc should I pack? (REMEMBER I AM AUSTRALIAN...)
